At Private Wellness, your comfort, safety and privacy come first. Because every booking gives you exclusive use of our facilities, the whole space is yours and your party’s for the duration of your session.

These guidelines help us keep that experience safe, clean and relaxing for everyone. When you confirm a booking, you accept them on behalf of yourself and all the guests in your party.

1. Before you arrive

  • Please make sure everyone in your party has read these guidelines.
  • Let us know in advance of anything we should be aware of, including any access needs.
  • Some of our facilities are not suitable for everyone (see Health and safety below) — please check before you book.

2. Arrival and your session

  • Please arrive about 10 minutes before your start time so we can check you in and your session can begin promptly.
  • Lockers are available for your footwear and belongings. 
  • Please be ready to leave promptly at the end of your session so we can prepare the space for the next guests.
  • Your session time is reserved for you. Arriving late will reduce the time available, as we may have another private booking after yours.

3. Health and safety

  • Our sauna, steam room and whirlpool are heat- and water-based experiences. If you are pregnant, or have a heart condition, high blood pressure or any other medical condition, please seek medical advice before using them and avoid them if you are advised to.
  • Take your time getting in and out of the pool and whirlpool, and take care on wet surfaces.
  • Stay hydrated, and don’t spend too long in the sauna, steam room or whirlpool in one go — take breaks and cool down between sessions.
  • If you feel unwell or light-headed at any point, please stop, rest, and let our team know.
  • You know your own body best — please use the facilities sensibly and within your limits.

4. Hygiene

  • For hygiene reasons, please shower before using the pool, whirlpool, sauna and steam room.
  • When using the sauna, please sit or lie on a towel so that your whole body, including your feet, rests on the towel.

5. What to wear

  • Please wear suitable swimwear when using the pool, whirlpool, sauna and steam room.
  • Robes and slippers are provided for use during your visit.

6. Using the facilities

Your private wellness includes our mineral-water pool, red cedar sauna, steam room, hydrotherapy whirlpool, rainfall shower and full-body dryer. Please use each facility as it is intended and follow any signs or instructions provided. The space is yours to enjoy at your own pace, and you’re welcome to play your own music during your session.

7. Personal care

To keep our space pristine for every guest, the following are not permitted on the premises: shaving, cutting nails, dyeing hair, applying henna, brushing teeth or similar personal grooming. A charge may apply if these take place.

8. Food and drink

  • Any food and drink included in your package or add-ons will be provided by us.
  • Please do not bring your own food or drink unless we have agreed it in advance.
  • All refreshments we provide are non-alcoholic. Alcohol is not served and is not permitted on the premises.

9. Smoking and vaping

Smoking and vaping and any illegal substances are not permitted anywhere on the premises.

10. Age policy

Private Wellness is a 16+ only environment. In line with our booking terms, all visitors and guests must be at least 16 years of age. We do not permit entry to anyone under the age of 16 under any circumstances.

11. Your group

Because your booking is completely private, your group has the space entirely to itself — couples, friends and mixed groups are all welcome. The lead guest who makes the booking is responsible for the conduct of everyone in the group.

12. Respect and privacy

Private Wellness is a place to relax and feel at ease. Please be considerate of one another, and note that intimate or inappropriate behaviour is not permitted. Our team may end a session, without refund, if behaviour puts the safety, comfort or dignity of others at risk or breaches these guidelines.

13. Looking after the space

  • Please treat our facilities and equipment with care.
  • You are responsible for any damage caused by you or your party, and may be asked to cover the cost of repair or replacement.
  • Please look after your belongings; we cannot accept responsibility for loss or theft, except where it is caused by our negligence.

14. Our team

For your safety and comfort, please follow the guidance of our team at all times.

15. If guidelines aren't followed

If these guidelines are not respected, we reserve the right to ask guests to leave the premises, without refund.

16. Bookings and rescheduling

All bookings are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled. However, you may reschedule your booking in line with our Terms & Conditions, subject to availability and the required notice period.
