What is Private Wellness?
Private Wellness is an exclusive, fully private spa experience located in Shirley, Solihull, near Birmingham. Unlike traditional spas, the entire facility is reserved exclusively for you and your group no other guests, no shared spaces. Enjoy complete privacy while you relax in our mineral pool, red cedar sauna, steam room, rainfall shower, hydrotherapy whirlpool, and more.
What makes Private Wellness different from other spas?
We are a 100% private spa — when you book, the entire facility is yours alone. There are no other guests on-site, no communal areas, and no interruptions. Our space features premium facilities including a mineral water pool, aromatic natural red cedar hybrid sauna, deep-detox steam room, rainfall shower experience, world-first 3-stage filtration hydrotherapy whirlpool, and a full-body smart dryer. Every detail is designed for your comfort, relaxation, and privacy.
Where is Private Wellness located?
We are located in Shirley, Solihull, just a short distance from Birmingham city centre.
What are your opening hours?
We are open from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, seven days a week. You can view available time slots and book your preferred session through our website. We recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred date and time.
Do you have private parking?
Yes, we have a two private parking available for our guests. You can park conveniently on-site when you arrive for your session.
Bookings and Pricing
How do I book a session?
You can book directly through our website at privatewellness.uk/booking. Simply choose your preferred date and time, select your package (Standard, Romantic or Bridal), and add any optional extras you’d like. Booking confirmation is sent immediately.
How many guests can attend per booking?
Bookings are available for a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 6 guests.
How long are the sessions?
Session durations range from 2 to 6 hours. You choose the length that suits you when booking. We also offer a discount when you book for more than 2 hours, so you can take your time and fully unwind.
What packages do you offer?
We currently offer three main packages: Standard (full access to all facilities for 2 – 6 guests, with flexible session lengths and optional add-ons). Romantic Pack for only two guests (a beautifully curated couples experience including welcome mocktails, face masks, candlelight, chocolates, fresh roses, and your choice of music). Bridal Pack minimum 4 – 6 guests (a celebration package with welcome mocktails, sweets platter, fresh fruit, candles, balloons, and elegant decorations).
Can I add extras to my booking?
Yes. We offer a range of add-ons to personalise your visit. You can select the add-ons during the booking process.
Is a deposit required?
Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your session. This guarantees your exclusive time slot and allows us to prepare everything in advance for your arrival.
Are mixed-gender groups allowed?
Yes, absolutely. Mixed-gender groups are welcome at Private Wellness. Whether you’re visiting as a couple, a group of friends, or a family gathering, all group combinations are welcome.

What facilities are included in every booking?
Every booking includes full, private access to all of our facilities: Private Mineral Water Pool (swim and relax in mineral-enriched water), Red Cedar Hybrid Sauna (aromatic natural red cedar wood with a soothing scent), Deep-Detox Steam Room (pure vapour steam in a shimmer mosaic-designed room), Rainfall Shower (experience the calming sensation of real rainfall), Hydrotherapy Whirlpool (world-first 3-stage filtration hydrotherapy system), Smart Full-Body Dryer (a hygienic, modern way to dry off after your session), and Private Lockers (secure storage for footwear and personal belongings).
Can I play my own music during the session?
Yes. You are welcome to play your favourite music throughout your session. The space is entirely yours to customise and enjoy at your own pace.
Do you offer spa treatments such as massages or facials?
We do not offer professional spa treatments such as massages or facials. Private Wellness is a self-service wellness experience, focused on giving you private access to premium relaxation facilities. However, we do offer soothing face masks and under-eye patches as an add-on for you to enjoy yourself.
Will staff be present during my session?
A team member will greet you on arrival, help you check in, and ensure your private suite is prepared. Once your session begins, no staff will be present in the spa area, giving you complete privacy and freedom to relax undisturbed.
Is the spa suitable for birthdays, proposals, or celebrations?
Absolutely, Private Wellness is a wonderful setting for birthdays, hen parties, bridal celebrations, anniversaries, proposals, friendship days & more. With our Bridal Pack, Birthday Pack, and customisable add-ons, we can help make your special occasion truly unforgettable. The entirely private setting means no interruptions — just you and your guests.

What time should I arrive?
Please arrive 10 minutes before your booked session time. This allows enough time for a smooth check-in, storing your belongings in a locker, and getting comfortable before your session begins.
What should I bring with me?
Please bring your swimwear (swimming costume, trunks, or shorts) to enjoy the pool and wet facilities. We recommend leaving jewellery and valuables at home. Lockers are provided to securely store your footwear and personal belongings during your visit.
Are towels and robes provided?
Yes, towels and robes will be provided for you when you arrive. Everything will be ready and waiting so you can get comfortable and start enjoying your private spa experience straight away.
Policies
What is your cancellation policy?
All bookings are non-refundable. However, you may reschedule your session to a different date, subject to availability. We recommend booking dates you are confident about to avoid any inconvenience.
Are there any age restrictions?
Yes. All guests must be 16 years of age or older to use the spa facilities. This policy is in place for the safety and comfort of all guests.
Are there any rules or guidelines I should follow?
We ask that all guests respect the space and maintain a clean, peaceful environment. Key guidelines include: please shower before using the pool, sauna, and steam room, no smoking or vaping inside the facility, no outside food or drinks please leave the space as you found it, any disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in the session being ended immediately.
Can I take photos or videos during my session?
Yes, you’re welcome to capture memories during your visit. Since the space is entirely private and exclusively yours, feel free to take photos and videos. If you’d like to share your experience, you can tag us on our social media channels.
Are there any cameras inside the spa facility?
For security purposes, CCTV is in operation at the reception area only. There are absolutely no cameras inside the spa facility itself. Your privacy is our top priority, and the entire spa space is completely camera-free, so you can relax and enjoy your session with total peace of mind.
Do you serve alcohol?
We serve only non-alcoholic mocktails as part of our packages and add-ons. For health and safety reasons, we advise against consuming alcohol before or during your spa session, as saunas, steam rooms, and hot water can amplify the effects of alcohol.
Health and Safety
Can I visit if I’m pregnant?
If you are pregnant, we strongly recommend consulting your GP before visiting. Saunas, steam rooms, and hot water facilities may not be suitable during pregnancy. Your health and safety are our top priority, so please seek medical advice before booking.
Can I visit if I have a medical condition?
If you have any medical conditions including heart conditions, high or low blood pressure, epilepsy, respiratory issues, recent surgery, or are on medication, please consult your doctor before booking. Certain conditions may affect your ability to safely use saunas, steam rooms, and hydrotherapy facilities.
Is the facility cleaned between sessions?
Yes. The entire facility is thoroughly cleaned and sanitised between every booking. Our mineral pool features a world-first 3-stage filtration system, ensuring the highest standards of water hygiene. Your health and comfort are always our priority.
